The Estonian Motor Insurance Bureau (LKF) ensures the effective functioning of motor third-party liability insurance in Estonia. We are a trusted sector-wide representative, bringing together all insurers providing motor insurance in Estonia. Together, we work to ensure that the system functions reliably and that no victim is left to face the consequences of an accident alone.

We maintain the national motor insurance register and compile market-wide statistics to provide clarity on claims and damages, as well as a comprehensive overview of how the market operates. We act as the motor insurance guarantee fund and compensation body, and we fulfil the role of the Green Card Bureau in Estonia. In addition, we organise out-of-court dispute resolution through our conciliation body, offering fast and independent assistance in resolving insurance disputes.
